The Hotel Express International franchise, founded in 1987, is the world's leading global hotel discount program. We have a distributor network with around 60 national offices worldwide. We have agreements with more than 9,000 hotels in 145 countries worldwide. Hotels in the USA gives our members 20% off best unrestricted web rate while hotels in all countries outside USA gives our members 50% discount off rack rates subject to expected availability.

Hotel Express International memberships are sold and maintained via independent national or regional sales offices, through telemarketing, direct mail, business meetings and special marketing initiatives. The annual membership fee, while varying from country to country, is approximately €170 + VAT. With sufficient funding and efforts the right distributors can develop a profitable, long-term business. Our product has been so popular with our members that many of them have become distributors themselves.

Our customers are frequent travelers, mostly from small and medium sized companies. The memberships sold by our distributors consist of an embossed, personal Hotel Express card valid for one year, and a hotel directory. Our distributors also provide a free reservation service for travel abroad for their members, using our dedicated software. The quality of service offered results in an exceptionally high renewal rate of 65% to 90% in different countries. This level of repeat business is the safety factor in our program, and one of the best reasons to join. You really can build up a long term business when you have a stream of satisfied customers coming back for more.

In addition to hotel discounts the membership includes extra travel related benefits like; Shell fuel and forecourt discounts, car rental discount with Sixt and National, discount at airport lounges, at spa and wellness centers worldwide to name a few.

How to get started We offer two kinds of distributorships – Exclusive and Non-Exclusive. The start-up cost for a non-exclusive distributor is only €1,200 (plus shipment costs) and includes your own personal Hotel Express membership, 40 memberships and sales material. The non-exclusive agency is specifically designed for those who wish to sell this product in addition to other products that they might sell and also for those who wish to test their ability to sell the product before committing to an Exclusive agency.

We are also offering exclusive, master licenses for distributors in several other countries (€20,000-50,000 for exclusive master license). A distributor operates as a franchisee, with memberships being sold on a royalty basis on behalf of HEI. As an exclusive agent you can own the rights for 1 or more countries. This will allow you to set up your own sales network with either sub distributors or sales people. You will run all aspects of Hotel Express International within your territory.
